About
Hi, I’m Kris Black.
I’ve been a loyal Apple user since the early 1990s. My first experience on a Mac was in high school using HyperCard to create interactive reports. I fell in love with Apple because I found a new way to express myself through code and digital art. I immediately needed my own Apple at home. With the help of a credit account from Sears (much to my mother’s disappointment) I bought a Performa 550—I loved that all-in-one.
I’ve worked as a creative professional since 2000. I now use my Apple gear as a visual designer and cartoonist. AppleCartoonist.com is my little place on the web where I get to share my love of Apple through my art.
I hope my art brings you as much joy as it does for me.
